Did you know that the longest book in the Bible is a song book? It’s called the book of Psalms, which contains 150 individual songs. As we read this incredible literature, it is obvious that God delights when His people sing, play instruments, and express their heart-felt worship through lyrical poetry. The Psalms express the full range of human emotion before God, from pain and sorrow to joy and celebration! As such, the Psalms have been a wonderful treasure for Christians through the centuries.
Each Sunday this summer we’ll explore a different Psalm, looking at its unique theme and find meaningful ways to connect it to our lives of worship. Join us for a “Summer in the Psalms!”
