We offer our facilities to people that attend the church and like most places we require a cleaning deposit that is returned after the event. If you do not attend church here but know a member who will be present at your event you are welcome to use our facilities as well. We are excited to be able to serve you in this way. In order to request use of the church facilities, please read the following Facilities User Agreement and fill out the request form below.
*Please note the use of our facilities will not be available after 8PM on Saturdays and Sundays before 2PM.
Facilities User Agreement
This is an agreement between the First Baptist Church of Paden City (Paden City FBC) and the responsible user.
Contract Details
1. The user agrees to indemnify Paden City FBC against any loss, liability or claim resulting from use of facility by those engaged in the activity of the user as stated here in and not arising from negligence of Paden City FBC. Further, the user agrees to pay, within 10 days of the event, for repair of all damages (beyond normal wear and tear) caused to Paden City FBC property by those engaged in the user’s event activities.
2. Only the rooms specified in the agreement are to be used and will be available 2 hours before your event to decorate and 2 hours after for clean-up. User will be given a Clean up Check list Sheet.
3. All children and youth will be supervised at all times by an adult representative.
4. All areas used must be cleaned up immediately after use and left in their original or better condition. The ($150) deposit will be returned once these things are complete.
5. When using the kitchen all trash should be placed in the trash container. We ask that no liquid be placed in the trash containers. All food belonging to the user must be removed from the refrigerator, and the kitchen and any appliances or utensils cleaned after use and returned to their original state.
6. Any Paden City FBC activity involving the rooms scheduled takes precedence over any activity by the user. The church can relocate the user to another section of the building if necessary.
7. A representative for the church will be responsible for opening the main doors of the church. If a representative from the church is not present when leaving the user is responsible for turning off lights, locking the front (Main) doors and exit through the side door by the offices.
8. CO-VID 19. We are practicing strict social distancing, along with ALL of the recommendations being made by the CDC and WV Gov. Jim Justice. The facility is sanitized frequently throughout the week (M-S), & we expect those who use the facilities to uphold these guidelines and help us to continue to be a positive testament to our church and community.
